On Tuesday, Tata Motors announced the association of Tata Yodha with one of the latest franchise in the forthcoming season of pro kabaddi league, UP Yoddha.

With four new teams including UP Yoddha in Pro Kabaddi League will start on an exciting note on 28 July and concluded on 28 October with new format and a promise to become bigger and grander than ever.

Sports and Youth Welfare Department Uttar Pradesh , Chetan Chauhan unveiled official team jersey on Tuesday in the presence of the UP Yoddha team and senior management of Tata Motors

The Franchise of UP Yoddha is owned by GMR Group, Team underwent fitness and pre match training camps at D.P.S. Aligarh.

Speaking on this occasion, Col Vinod Bisht, Head of UP Yoddha, said, "It has been a very pleasant experience for us to move towards the inaugural season.The training camp has really encouraged a strong team spirit in the squad, We could not have asked for a better build-up than what we have had."

"The UP Yoddha team already has a lot of stars who have set the stage on fire in the Pro Kabaddi League. With exciting new talents also likely to be added to the squad in the years to come, the future looks bright for the franchise. We have been really fortunate to have a strong partner like Tata Yodha with us. Together I hope we can scale new heights in spreading the message of the sport throughout the state of UP."

U.P. Yoddha will play their first match against Telugu Titans in Hyderabad on August 1. In all the 12 franchisees of 11 states, UP insurgency will play 130 matches more than 13 weeks.

One of the star of the UP Yoddha's team, Nitin Tomar, is also the most expensive player of the pro kabaddi league season 5. No wonder then all eyes will be on Tomar in a squad of UP Yoddha.

"This is a new beginning for all of us, but in the past few weeks we have tied up so well that it has been realised that we have been together for a few years," said Tomar.
