Surrender Nada Confirmed As Captain Of  Haryana Steelers


Haryana Steelers, One of the four new teams in the upcoming season of pro kabaddi league, announced Sonipat's Surender Nada as their captain on Monday. The pro kabaddi league season 5 is going to be commence from 28 July in Hyderabad and concluded on 28 October. Surrenders fellow player Wazir Singh announced as a Vice Captain.










The 27 year Surender Nada is a left corner defender of Haryana Steelers  has played almost 49 matches scoring 156 points. Surrender also was a part of Bengaluru Bulls franchise in previous editions of pro kabaddi league.

Surrender popularly known as ankle-hold specialist, has been a constant performer in the previous editions of pro kabaddi league.

He was part of the U Mumba team, which lifted the trophy in the 2015 season of pro kabaddi league and was also a part of the Indian national team in 2016.

Surrender Nada took to the sport at a very young age despite of his family's financial troubles.

Pre Session Training: Haryana Steelers


Haryana Steelers has spent last three weeks in a pre-session training camp in Bellary, Karnataka

Khokar, the Haryana Steelers coach said "The coaching management has spent an extensive amount of time with every individual as well as the team on the whole. And, I can say it with confidence that we are well prepared for our first season in the PKL," Khokhar said. "We have worked on technical, physical and tactical aspects as well as game situations, and I'm completely satisfied with the way things have panned out,".

Haryana Steelers will play their debut match against the mighty U Mumba on 30 July in Hyderabad. The league reaches Haryana on 8 September at Rai School in Sonipat, Haryana, where the Haryana steelers will play their home match with 2 time champions Patna Pirates.

During the auction of pro kabaddi league, the team, Haryana Steelers spent cash on Mohit Chillar and bought from Bengaluru Bulls for rs 46.50 lakhs. Chillar a right corner defender is a tough contender with Surrender Nada on left corner contender. The pair forms a difficult combination for the players of the opposition team of pro kabaddi league.
