In the last few minutes before the end of the first half, Jaipur Pink Panthers beat Gujarat Fortune Giants by 31-25 in the 59th match of **Pro Kabaddi League** Season 5 and retaining their dominance. In the match played at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium on Sunday (September 3th), Jaipur won the match by defeating Gujarat in the last match.
At the top of Zone-A, Gujarat Fortune Giants started off well with the good performance of strong defenders like Abozar Meghani and Fazel Atrachali in the first half and a 6-2 lead on Jaipur through the leading of Sachin and Captain Sukesh Hegde. Jaipur's efforts to reduce this lead was not working on Gujarat. Raider Jasvir's seems to be helpless in this match.
Pawan Sehrawat and Sukesh Hegde handed Gujarat a 6-2 advantage midway into the first-half. It was about building on their attack and bolstering their defence but the Jaipur captain brought a fine turnaround in front of their cheering star owner Abhishek Bachchan.
Jaipur quietly made progress with Pawan snatching some fine points while their defence too began to flourish foiling Pawan's incisive attempts to curtail the deficit to 5-7 after 12 minutes.
Captain Jasvir then effected an all-out at the stroke of half-time to trail past *Gujarat Fortune Giants* 13-9 and they went on to make steady progress to take the game beyond the reach of the Zone A leaders. "Jaipur Pink Panthers" began well in the second-half with their raiders and attackers combining well, extending their lead to nine points after 26 minutes.
