Deepak Hooda Confirmed As Captain Of Puneri Paltan: Pro Kabaddi League Season 5

Deepak Niwas Hooda Known as the ‘Raiding Machine’, is confirmed as captain of Puneri Paltan for the upcoming season of pro kabaddi league season 5. Puneri paltan is one of the best teams in PKL. Deepak Niwas has been associated with the team since season 3 of pro kabaddi league. This young and talented player is 22-year-old and also played for the Telugu Titans.

In his 57 matches, his raid points are 342. Deepak Hooda, is the man who accepts the challenge and answers back with his full potential. DeepaK Hooda, along with the team management and sponsors, unveiled the new jersey of the team Puneri Paltan for season 5 of pro kabaddi league on Wednesday .

Speaking on the event, CEO of Puneri Paltan, Kailash Kandpal said, “We have a lot of talented players in the team for this season. Our team is an amalgamation of both experience and talent. This season looks very promising for us and we hope to win the title. We as Puneri Paltan, are committed towards Kabaddi as a sport and intend to promote it right from the grass root level.”

Deepak Hooda, on this announcement said  “I am extremely humbled to be appointed as captain. I am grateful to the management for having faith in me. We are putting in lot of efforts to train and build our team. Our head coach is very insightful and guides us at each and every step. With this new team and continuous guidance from our head coach and mentor, we are pretty confident that we will give our best in this season.”

Puneri Platan is one the finest and top teams of pro kabaddi league and make place in the top four position in the last two seasons of PKL. This season the team only retained Deepak Niwas Hooda, from the last edition. The squad is filled with experienced and talented players like Sandeep Narwal, Deepak Hooda, and Girish Ernak. They also have two international players – Takamitsu Kono and Ziaur Rahman.

Fifth edition of pro kabaddi league will be begin from 28th of July and Puneri Paltan will be playing its first match with U Mumba on the same day in Hyderabad.
