Sachin Tendulkar Announced His Team Name: Pro Kabaddi League Season 5

                     

The pro kabaddi league is moving towards starting the fifth season. It is to be started from 28 July. In this 12 teams will participate. There has been an increase in the number of four new teams coming in. The new season of PKL will last for 13 weeks in 11 states, which will have 130 matches. This will be the biggest tournament in the country.

The new season of pro kabaddi league has come with four new teams named, Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu respectively, which include JSW Group, Adani Group, GMR Group, Sachin Tendulkar and Entrepreneur N. Prasad has bought. The name of the two teams has also been announced. Haryana Steelers and Gujarat Fortune Giants are new names. The name of the third team is Tamil Nadu Thalaivas, its name was announced by Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter.

Significantly, this is Sachin Tendulkar's third team. Earlier, he had bought the Kerala Blasters teams in the Premier Badminton League and Bengaluru Blasters in the Indian Super League (football). His three teams are for three separate games.

Tamil Thalaivas, the team representing the city of Chennai is quite strong. He had trusted a lot of young players in the auction. This team has Veteran Raider Ajay Thakur, who also has represented Bengaluru Bulls and Punari Paltan in the earlier season of pro kabaddi league. He is also the star player of the Indian team's World Cup winning team last year.

Amit Hooda, the most expensive player of Tamil Thalaivas has been taken in the amount of Rs 63 lakhs. All the teams had shown interest in this 21-year-old player, but Tamil Nadu team got success in taking them. Defender Anil Kumar is also one of his main players. They have been purchased for 25.50 lakh rupees. C Arun, a former player of Bengal Warriors, was bought for Rs 33 lakhs in the recently concluded player auction of pro kabaddi league.
