Rohit Kumar Announced As A Captain Of Bengaluru Bulls: Pro Kabaddi League Season 5

The biggest tournament of India, pro kabaddi league season 5 is going to be start from 28 July and concluded on 28 October and promises to be grander and better than ever with the four new teams.
The new edition of pro kabaddi league will feature 138 matches spread across a period of three months.






After an auction process concluded in May that saw teams spend an amount of Rs 47 Crore to fill their squads with best players for the new season, the teams have now been training together and prepare for the upcoming season of pro kabaddi league.

The team from Bangalore which is to be called as Bengaluru Bulls announced Rohit Kumar as an Captain, While defender Ravinder Pahal announces as a vice-captain in this season of PKL.

Rohit Kumar will replace Surender Nada, who was bought by the new team Haryana Steelers in the 2017 player auction of PKL. Kumar won the Most Valuable Player Award in in his debut season of the tournament. He was the teams's top scorer with 12 points in just 14 matches.

“I am humbled by the decision taken by the management and would like to thank them for believing in my abilities,” Kumar said. “We come with a fresh mindset and a young self-motivated team with a well devised strategy in place for this season.”

Bengaluru Bulls are placed in Zone B of the new formatted pro kabaddi league, along with Tamil Thalaivas, Patna Pirates, Bengal Warriors, UP Yoddha, and Telugu Titans. The top six teams across two zones will qualify for the Super Playoffs. The fifth season of Pro Kabaddi will be the longest tournament ever, which will continued for 13 weeks.
