Rahul Chaudhari confirmed as a captain of Telugu Titans

The upcoming season of Pro kabaddi league season 5 is going to be start from 28 July and concluded on 28 October. This time with new rules and 4 new teams from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Haryana respectively , the tournament is going to be bigger and grander than ever.








It will feature a total of 12 teams from 11 different states of India playing almost 140 matches in a life span of 3 months. All the 12 teams have now started training and have camps set up across the country and work hard in preparation of the new season of pro kabaddi league.

Last month,the player auction of pro kabaddi league took place, in which out of eight existing teams, seven choose to retain their one player each, only jaipur pink panthers was choose to not to retain any existing player of the team.

The Telugu Titans retained their star raider Rahul Chaudhari, the man from Bijnor who will also lead the team in the upcoming season of PKL.

Chaudhari is referred as the ‘poster boy of Indian kabaddi’ and was the highest point scorer in the history of pro kabaddi league.

The vice-captain is yet to be announced, but a strong contender for it will be Rakesh Kumar, who has previously played for U Mumba and Patna Pirates. The 34-year-old boy is one of the most experienced players in the sport and is an able leader on the mat. He earns an four raid points per match.
