Pro Kabaddi League Season 5: Puneri Paltan Win First Match Against U Mumba by 33-21

In the second match of Pro Kabaddi Season 5 played at Gachi Bowli Stadium in Hyderabad, Puneri Paltan surprised everyone by defeating U Mumba by 33-21. Sandeep Narwal performed best for Punei platan and scored 6 points. At the same time, veteran Dharmaraj Chellaratan did not have any reply with U Mumba and he also got 4 points. Captain Deepak Hooda also performed well and got 5 points. Captain Anup Kumar did the best by U Mumba, but his 8 points did not work. With this victory, the Puneri Paltan got 5 points. This is the second win of the Puneri Paltan on Yu Mumba, but in the beginning of the season this victory was very necessary for his campaign and U Mumba will now make a full effort to return.

In the second half, the Puneri Paltan continued its spectacular performance and his defense was not giving any chance to U Mumba today. In the 24th minute, the score was 26-10 and Deepak Niwas Hooda had done a tremendous Super Red. The second time U Mumba was all out in this match. U Mumba tried to return to the match and achieved three consecutive points, but no one wanted to give any relaxation in the Puneri Paltan match. After 30 minutes, the Puneri Paltan was 27-14 ahead. Nitin Madane and Anup Kumar were in full swing, but in the 35th minute Shabir Bapu tackled the Puneri paltan and outplayed him 30-18. Rajesh Mondal again redeemed and after that Puneriy's tremendous defense also expelled Anup Kumar. Two minutes were left in the match, then the Puneri Paltan was 32-20 ahead. In the end, Puneri Paltan  made the match from 33-21.

After the first half, the Puneri Paltan has made the U-Mumba up 17-10. The Mumbai team will have to make a good comeback in the second half. On behalf of the Puneri Paltan, Sandeep Narwal has so far scored 6 points, while Dharmaraj Chellaratan has achieved 3 tackle points in defense. Only Anup Kumar has been influenced by U Mumba and his name so far has 4 points.

Both teams would like to start the season with the win and the team of both the teams is quite strong. U Mumba's record, however, has been very good against Puneri Paltan and he has won 7 matches against Pune's team from eight.
