The much awaited Pro Kabaddi League season 5 is going to start from this july With the addition of four new teams, this season will feature over 130 matches played over a period of over three months and promises yo be bigger than ever. The player auction for the fifth season of pro kabaddi league was held on 22 may and was concluded on 24 may with 12 teams fighting for the best raiders, defenders and all rounders. Before the auction begins, the existing teams have been allowed to retain one player each.






PATNA PIRATES

Patna Pirates, the defending champions of the last two season of PKL have retained their "dubki king" Pardeep Narwal who was also awarded as the most valuable player of pro kabaddi league season 4

TELGU TITANS

Telgu Titans, have been retained their highest raid point scorer over the four season Rahul Chaudhari, He has been a key part of the side since the start of the league three years ago.

JAIPUR PINK PANTHERS

Jaipur Pink Panthers, The runners up from last season have chosen not to retain any player and filled their squads with young and dynamic players like  Rajesh Narwal and Amit Hooda.

U MUMBA

U MUMBA
, who is representing the city of Mumbai have retained their 'Bonus ka Badshah' Anup Kumar who led India to victory in the World Cup.

Team Puneri Paltan, who is representing the city of Pune have retained Deepak Niwas Hooda.

BENGALURU BULLS

Bengaluru Bulls, have retained their youngster Ashish Sangwan, who is handy in attack and defense instead of Instead of keeping star defender and most expensive player in PKL history  Mohit Chhillar.
DABANG DELHI

Only two teams of pro kabaddi league season 5 have retained their forieng players and one of them is Dabang Delhi, as they have chosen to retain all rounder  Meyraj Sheykh.

BENGAL WARRIORS

Bengal Warriors, finished last in season 4 of pro kabaddi league and have chosen to retain their star player Jang Kun Lee. The korean raider is famous for his attacking style of play and won over the hearts of kabaddi fan.
