The Chennai-based Tamil Thalaivas team of Pro Kabaddi League formally started here on Thursday. Team Jersey was unveiled as well

The brand ambassador of the Tamil Thalaivas franchise, film actor Alla Arjun and Ram Charan Teja, industrialist Nimmagadda  Prasad, film producer Allu  Aravind, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and team film actor Kamal Haasan were also present on this special event of Jersey launched of the team of pro kabaddi league season 5.

The most entertaining bit of this event came when Tendulkar was asked how long would he want to put together a kabaddi team, who would choose from his social circle?

Giving this a brief idea, he said, "For a defender, it should be that which fights well for so many years in pro kabaddi league so it will be MS. For the raider, I will go with Shankar Mahadevan because no one can stop his breath, as well as him. Have you heard his [music track] 'Breathless'? "He said. It was gathered in the division.

He also had a social message, "India is one of the youngest people in the world, besides it, it comes to obesity when it is the third place in the world, for the average age of youth and obesity population for disaster. There is a recipe.

"So, I think people should play games, even if they are not professional. I am not here to support kabaddi, but to support sports in India," he said

Tendulkar also thanked film star Kamal Haasan for being the brand ambassador of Tamil Thalaivas. who in turn said that he was happy that a sportsman like Sachin Tendulkar is putting his efforts behind Pro Kabaddi team. Other co-owners including Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan, who were also present, thanked Tendulkar and Haasan for supporting a native sport like Kabaddi.

Pro Kabaddi League Commissioner Anupam Goswami said that while mentioning four new teams this season, the increasing number of teams is one of many factors which suggest that a league is performing well.

Gujarat Fortune Giants, Haryana Steelers, and U.P. Yodhha are the other new entrants in the upcoming season of pro kabaddi league
