Gujarat Jersey Revealed: Pro Kabaddi League Season 5

The season 5 of Pro Kabaddi League will start next month and the teams are all set to compete in what is going to be the biggest tournament of its kind in the history of Indian sport. This edition of pro kabaddi league will feature 12 teams and will feature over 130 matches spread across a time period of 13 weeks.

One of the four new teams in the fifth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League starting July 28, the Gujarat Fortune Giants jersey was officially released on Wednesday in the special appearance of Dangal Fame famous woman wrestler Geeta Phogat. The team's two coaches: Neer Gulia, Manpreet Singh, Captain Sukesh Hegde, Adani Wilmar Limited Managing Director Pranav Adani were also present on the occasion.

Captain Sukesh Hegde and both the coaches expressed hope that the team Gujrat Fortune Giants would win the title by performing the best for the first time.

Explaining its strength to be young and energetic of the team, he said that special tactics are being created to avoid the fitness of the players and the injury because this time the league will last for three months instead of one and a half and the fit and energetic team will win. Three of the team's 18 players are foreigners. Adani said that he will work to make pro kabaddi league popular again in Gujarat and the whole country. This time around 12 teams will participate in the league. The final will be on October 28.
